Pizza For U

I was expecting to have to extend some grace based on the other reviews (since they have re-opened), but was pleasantly surprised. No issues with ordering and pizza arrived within the hour. Overall great pizza night with the family!

I sent a beef pocket to a friend and the delivery driver had to call me because my friend didn’t answer right away, but I just wanted to put here that he was the most polite young man/delivery driver I’ve talked to in a long time. Mason deserves a shout out and a raise! It was his first day and first delivery and he was very conscientious that he would do the right thing. My friend ended up answering the door and all was well. They really enjoyed their delicious beef pocket!

It's the best around. It's your basic pizza, nothing fancy and that's what I want. The beef pockets must have been given to them by a highly advanced civilization because they are out of this world good. It's so good. My favorite thing to order.

First time eating here and was blown away by the food and service. Being our first time here my wife and I asked for recommendations. The young man working the counter was friendly and passionate about his job. His recommendations were right on, beef pocket was good and buffalo chicken pocket was even better!

Second review under new owner: If I could give 10 stars for service, I would. I was out running errands with my 12 year old daughter, and we were getting hungry. As we were leaving Costco, I resisted the temptation to get a hot dog and asked the kiddo what she wanted to eat. She emphatically said, "I want a beef thing from Pizza For U!" I tried to order online, but that was disabled. So I drove to the Shorewood location and the open sign wasn't lit up, and another sign said closed. My daughter was very disappointed. I saw two guys in there, so I decided to try my luck. I walked in and asked if they were open. One guy (Nick) said, "We're closing because we are short staffed. But I still got the oven on so we can make you something quick." I got a beef pocket, breadsticks, and a white cheesy pizza. He had never heard of the last thing and couldn't find it in the computer. We looked it up on the menu and he said, "I got you." He gathered up all the ingredients to make it. He said he was going to make it himself even though he was supposed to do a delivery because the other guy (Vince) was super busy and newer, and he wanted to make sure it was right since they hadn't made it before. Nick was very conversational as he made this white cheesy pizza. I told him it was for a vegetarian that couldn't have tomatoes either. Nick was super careful when making it, ensuring no tomatoes touched it. He threw it in the oven, ran out for his delivery and came back to help Vince finish my order. After the white cheesy pizza was baked, he made sure to cut it with a clean blade that wasn't used to cut my beef pocket (for my other daughter who is a vegetarian). Vince was working hard back there and made me a great beef pocket and breadsticks. Nick and Vince made my daughter's night since she got the "beef thing from Pizza For U". They are short staffed but are working their tails off to make it work. The owner is not able to be there sir to a family emergency and Nick is running the place with the dedication and passion as if he owned the place. They have had some unfortunate reviews. I'm here to tell you that I have had great experiences since the new owner took over. If you've had a bad experience, please give them another chance. They are really trying hard to please their customers and I admire that. Thank you Nick and Vince for going out of your way to make my order even though you were closing. The service was top notch, it was fast, and it was delicious. You are appreciated! First review from a couple months ago: Great pizza, on time for pick up. Party guests loved it! My wife and I actually were going to the small bakery next door but upon arrival, it was closed. A nice gentleman; the owner or manager perhaps came outside of Pizza 4 U and told my wife that the guy that owns the bakery kinda makes his own hours. Being lunchtime we decided to partake in some pizza. We were told that their specialty was the Beef Pocket so we got one and we weren't disappointed. The food was excellent and the service the same. A few other notes are that they are remodeling so the interior is a bit out-of-sorts and there is no interior dining available so you need to order delivery or take out. That is the reason I gave only 3 stars for atmosphere because there really isn't one. Other than that, everything else was excellent

Pan crust pizza is excellent. I’ve ordered from here for years as my go to pizza. The marinara is also very good with cheesy breadsticks. Fast, good prices, and always friendly service.

Always delicious. I have yet to have a bad experience here.
